Robert Collett has nearly 20 years' experience as a Flexible Packaging Specialist.
Initially selling retail films and bags for a Swedish parent company, Robert then spent 13 years working for Britain's largest polythene producer, concentrating on industrial packaging and helping develop laminated sacks in the early nineties.
In March 2006 Robert formed his own business to offer his wealth of experience to help businesses benefit from the input of a Flexible Packaging Technologist.
He recognises how important a full understanding of packaging films is when procuring machinery and for managing packaging operations. This experience has been developed from his work with businesses across a broad range of industries, including: manufacturing, construction, food processing, horticulture, animal feed and bedding, beverage and toy manufacture. He continues to invest time in keeping up to date with current developments.
Robert's has experience of working with systems for: collating, shrink wrapping, stretch wrapping, and stretch hooding. He also has experience in bagging products in the following formats: automated sack cartridge feed, form filled reels, form filled packs from sheeting, including compression baling systems. His wide range of experience is too broad for just a few lines on this site but please feel free to contact him if you have a question.
Robert is a Christian married to Caroline with children Rachel, Andrew and Felicity. He loves cricket, golf, hockey and sings in St Matthew's worship team and has for many years been Christian Aid charity coordinator in Holbrook village where he lives.
